| "Mix 96" - OUR PHILOSOPHY |
KMKZ, Enid's new "Mix 96" is different. We never play more than two commercials in a row. People remember best those things they hear first or last in a conversation. When
you advertise on "Mix 96", you'll always be either first, or last, in the commercial set. The listener wins too! Because the fatigue caused by long sets of commercials cause
listeners to, not listen. When that happens both the radio station and the advertiser lose. At "Mix 96" we prefer the win/win over the lose/lose.
Another way "Mix 96" is different, is our philosophy that listeners hear announcements, not seconds. For that reason we're more interested in commercials that communicate
effectively with good writing and production rather than whether the commercial is exactly 30 or 60 seconds in length. We'd prefer the commercial to be say, 38 seconds in length and
understandable rather than sound like an announcer on amphetamines.
"Mix 96" is different becuase we're not satellite programmed. We're not bound by the 30 or 60 second shackles that plague satellite programmed stations and their advertisers.
"Mix 96" is different becuase all our announcers are local. As a result "Mix 96" is able to be more community aware, more of the time. In other words, it's doubtful an announcer
in California cares two hoots in you know where about the Enid Oklahoma area. "Mix 96" announcers do, we live here.
"Mix 96" never plays more than two commercials in a set. Our commercials communicate first and worry about seconds...second. We employ local announcers. "Mix 96" is all that and
affordable for local merchants. Sort of "Cadillac at Chevrolet prices."
